wickiewicked240z
I have a summit racing plastic fuel cell with the 0 ohm 90 ohm sending unit the tube type. Well the float sinks makes the gauge read incorrectly is there away to coat the float with a coating so it won't sink. Or should I just switch it with arm style sending unit? Zero83
Does it fill with gas?
z240
If its hollow, it must have a hole/split and is filling with gas. If its new, send it back for a replacement. If not, use a gank tank sealer to seal the hole/crack. POR makes a sealer. Don't use anything that will add much weight.
Tony D
How about ordering a new float? Anything that adds weight will cause the reading it skew. And I'm not to hot on using a hair dryer on a plastic float to dry out the interior before coating it with something that may or may not fix it! How much can it be to get a new float?
