1QWIKZ
I'll post video of it in action once it's on the car and lapping ...unfortunately, I'm in Canada so that will be next race season
Silver Mine Motors
the CNC shop is still working on the bracket design. shouldn't be to much longer. i'll keep you guys updated.
Silver Mine Motors
update: OK so I've been working with my CNC guys on this 280zx brake bracket. we have a ruff prototype made. it works well. holds all the parts. the clearances are a bit off so we will have to make a few slight changes to the CAD file and make another bracket. i'm hoping the next bracket will be perfect. if so i will start production of them. here is a picture of the first prototype bracket
BluDestiny
When you get a set with the right clearances could you take a pic of it installed on a 280zx?

Silver Mine Motors
The second prototype bracket was done yesterday. I still haven't seen it. I'm hoping to have time to do a mock up and see if it works.
Silver Mine Motors
Good news guys! Yesterday I tested the 2nd Prototype bracket. This bracket fits perfectly. I will order enough material to make brackets for 10 brake kits. Once the 1080 cold rolled steel arrives we will begin mass production! I’m hoping to be able to offer the kit for sale in 4-5 weeks. here are some pics from yesterday.

BluDestiny
Will we need all those washers or can that be fixed with just a shorter bolt? lol
Silver Mine Motors
haha we lost our shorter bolt so we had to use that longer one with all those washers for the picture. so no you won't need to use all those washers. i knew someone would ask about that. feifongwong3
Did you ever find out how big of a rim that this setup would fit under? I'm stuck up here in Yankee land turning the lights back on but still want a set.
Silver Mine Motors
my condolences to you and your family. good luck with everything. i did not get a chance to fit any wheels over the kit, but i'm pretty sure it will require a 15 or 16 inch wheel. probably some 15's will fit and others will need a thin spacer. and all 16 inch wheels will probably fit. these calipers can also be shaved down up to 5mm to make more room for wheels. 1QWIKZ
Still doesn't work. If you remove the "options" from the required information it should be good...
