I'm doing an LS1 swap on it and I was wanting to know what a good price would be to sell my l28 engine and 3 speed automatic transmission for. I have a brand new 100 amp alternator on it from zspecialties and I put a cold air intake on it. You can see these upgrades in the pics below. I was thinking of selling the set up with the stock alternator which would keep the price low and sell the new alternator separately. Does anyone have an idea of a price? BluDestiny Posted March 11, 2012 Share Posted March 11, 2012 I doubt anyone would want the trans. Of the three engines that I had to sell, I had an easier time parting them out. Pharaohabq Posted March 13, 2012 Share Posted March 13, 2012 (edited) If it runs you'll get a lot more for it. But I sold my last L28 tired pull out for 100 bucks, and the 5sp 78' tranny for $100.
