nismos30
Is there a way that the rear cover light of a 240z will fit a 280 rear taillight assembly? 240z are hard to find and taillights looks awesome but if i find a 280 i want to know if this thing is possible to convert thanks. MazerRackham
Yeah. Just search around. One guy did it. it looked great and its super easy. The problem is the mounting tabs at the bottom of the 240z tail lights are welded to some sort of hinge. You'd probably want to fabricate that hinge so that your fancy 240z tail light area doesn't fly off on the freeway.

GOTHALOSISM
I'll see if I still have pics of when I swapped to the 240 lights.
Oddmanout84
Yup. Very easy, unless you consider cutting up the body of the car difficult/painful to do. Still need to weld the tabs on the bottom of mine.

Leave it like that, and see if anybody notices...
HowlerMonkey
When we built Bob Lentz's GT2 280z out of a former 240z race car, I put the 280z taillights into it. I seem to remember lightly grinding the countour of the outside end to fit.
