nacitar
I know you can get an aftermarket 240z-style front valance and do the conversion (need the valance, turn signals, and to drill a bit to get the grille attached)... but can you do this with the _stock_ valance of the 240z (like http://edb.smugmug.com/photos/23266393_Hz78L-S.jpg ) I imagine that you can, but having only seen a 280z in person before I thought I'd inquire. scaotty
Yes I have a complete 240z front end(valance, signals, grill, bumper) on my 75 280z. Its a simple swap. Edited September 4, 2012 by scaotty
Ranger1316
I've got a complete 240Z swap waiting to go on my '78 Z. Only thing I've read is you have to make a few cuts to make the valance fit but it shouldn't be a big deal anyway.
yhlz
Doesn't the radiator support hang lower on the 280s than on the 240s? Will that be a problem?
GOTHALOSISM
Ummm look closely, the radiator is behind the radiator support not in front of it. So in other words no the radiator will not be an issue what so ever.
