Cleaning DCOE's

Is there a cleaner or method to make Weber (other similar DCOE's) look clean and bright? I use an ultrasonic cleaner (large) with a solvent to clean them. This seems to work well with the various carb parts. Unfortunately the cleaning doesn't do anything for the overall finish. Still looks matte gray. Is there a brightening agent that makes the pot metal (I assume it's some sort of pot metal) look nicer?

Pine-sol. Strip the carbs down to nothing but the aluminum bodies, carefully catalog what goes where, and soak them overnight in pine-sol. Make sure they are fully submerged. They'll come out VERY clean. Learned it from a motorbike guy...they're always cleaning sidedraft carbs of some sort or the other.
