zigen9
Hi all, I have finally got my hand back on my RBZ. There is always a problem when I start my car, like it doesn't idle well. I found out that my TPS wasn't even hook up in the first place, so wired up the TPS and it seems little better when the car is warmed up (like the idle wasn't jumpy). Now I have a new mines ecu, when the car warmed up. it seems ok. But when it cold starts. it stalls!!! Anyone knows what the problem?? Also, I have wired up a OBD consult plug, but it doesn't work. I'm sure my wiring is correct, because whiteheadperformance installed that and I have double checked once more. Anyone can help would be appreciated. ZT-R
Have you checked to see if the air regular is hooked up? Purple plug under the intake manifold, looks like an IAC motor.
zigen9
I've changed a iac already. I'll try and check the sure regulator. Thanks. There is also some other problems. For the throttle cable. I am not quite sure how to adjust it. Cuz now When I try to drive the car and step on the gas peddle, it stutter.
mtnickel
You get this resolved? As was mentioned, the purple plug under the IM is where the air regulator is. This is a cold start valve. It needs to get power when the engine is on. The fuel pump relay is a good place to get power for it. Aqua colored wire = switched 12v. Black = ground. I don't believe the wire gets hooked up in the stock harness.
