P30 L24 E88... with dished pistons?

Hi Hybrid Z

I bought an L24 E88 a while ago and I don't know what kind of compression ratio it should have.

This block was taken apart and refurbished (it has assembly lube on the cam).

l24's all had flat tops on them, but looking through the spark plug holes, this one has dished pistons.

Asked the seller what has been done to it and he has no idea.

I do not want want to take the cylinder head off, either since it's pretty much new.

So I'm asking if anybody would know what could have been done with it.

Has it been bored to 2800cc to accommodate the later l28 dished pistons?

I wonder if it was built to be a turbo block.

Maybe somebody has run into this kind of setup?

Thanks

Maybe it is an L26.  The stamp is on the passenger side of the block, back by 5 and 6.

More info.  Looks like they had flat top and dished pistons in the 260Z.  The CR's in the link below don't match the FSM, but who knows.  The 260Z used the P30 block, but had several different head and piston combinations, apparently.

It's probably just an L24 block with an L26 bottom end, or they put in L26 pistons. It's not a big deal, and a compression test won't tell you anything about the compression ratio.

This is likely the case. Thank you so much.
