xonix_digital
Hey all, I installed these front brake rotors about a year ago and just started to try and install the calipers. I bought them online and they were definitely for a 1973 240z. Does this look right?? It looks like the rotor is too far away from the heat shield which would explain the fact that the caliper wouldn't fit on. Any idea why this would happen? Did I install them wrong or are they the wrong size? Any way to tell? Thanks all...

NewZed
Here's another, even more recent. 73 seems to be the year of change. Early hubs have a "scalloped" shape to them, apparently. Later are just round. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/getting-help-your-z/49855-new-centric-rotors-dont-fit-%5Bshorter-hat%5D.html Edited July 8, 2013 by NewZed
xonix_digital
Awesome. That puts me square in "the gray zone"! My scalloped hubs and short rotor points to me needing an older style rotor. Thanks for all the help guys.
