Clean
I started working on my 78 280Z a few years ago, got divorced and it sat in the garage for 2 years... I just started working on it again and found a dead mouse and his nest inside the passenger rocker panel. I vacuumed out what I could, but there's still a ton of dirt and crap in there. Is there an easy way to get in there to clean all of it out? Any recommendations on a cleaning solution?
tooquick260
I ducked tape a 2 foot long garden hose onto my shop vacuum. Was able to get in a lot small area's. Was stiff enough to move around but flexible still.
LanceVance
I plan to find a soft wire brush you can chuck in a drill and get one of those flexible extensions when I get to cleaning up the rockers. Eastwood also sells a 'inside-the-frame' coating and rust converter with a special sprayer/hose to get at the stubborn surface rust deep in there. NewZed
If you can smell the mouse pee you'll probably want to hose it out with water. That stink will last forever.

socorob
I taped some of the cheap blue plastic conduit from Home Depot to my shop vac. You can also get a long brush for dryer vents for small hard to reach places. The plastic conduit will whistle pretty loudly though.
78Z/250GTO
I used the inside the frame coating from eastwood with its 18" 5 hole tip to spray all sorts of cleaners Primers and paint in areas that you could never get to without them.I even drilled a small hole and did inside my still solid dogsleg area then plugged it ...Jim
