S30Turbo
So I'm about to upgrade my exhaust and piping for my new rebuilt l28et. I currently have a Megan n1 2 1/2 piping I want to upgrade to either full 3 inch Jic magic or vibrant tpv. I'm looking for a low rumble and sounds good at wot. Thanks any opinions
emoximuu
I'm not sure how either of those would sound. I did really like my 3" apexi n1, had a good low rumble that set off most aftermarket car alarms! The JIC Magic exhausts that I've heard sounded good, they were on 1/2JZ swapped SC300's. S30Turbo
Yea I like the low deep bass rumble of the n1 but I need something louder. I like the jic and I have had a blitz nur spec one but right now I'm getting a deal on a Jic compared to blitz

It's 3 inch inlet and about 5 outlet tip
S30Turbo
The canister is about 15-17 inches will it fit can someone confirm this.
BluDestiny
The Vibrant TPV short version is about eh same size, which is the one I'm assuming you will be using. 15-17in is not that big, Average cheap mufflers are 20+ and you see people using those all the time. S30Turbo
Update I installed the hks high power with a vibrant high flow cat and I must say it's really quite but deep clean sound.

HowlerMonkey
I second a good high flow cat as long as you have some sort of shroud between body and cat. For some reason the path through the monolith get's rid of all the raspiness and you get a mellow rumble at idle. If you want to muffle further, a simple straight through at the bumper will suffice and a dual chamber muffler will quiet it down to stock levels. After driving J-ported rotarys all through the 80s, I like my cars super quiet now.

78zstyle
I really liked the way my 3 inch exhaust with a magnaflow straight through sounded. Very mean and not too loud.
