~KnuckleDuster~
Nice! Thanks for doing all the leg work. I really like that white Datsun pickup with the skyline front.
z240
And KANG and company won best in show with that 240z. BEST IN SHOW. How's that for cool. Edited November 9, 2015 by z240
veritech-z
That sunny pickup is a "hakotora," the kits are out there. I'm curious if it will go on a bulletside 720 pickup, or just the sunny truck? http://www.thegtrshop.com/hakotora-builds/4584857331

veritech-z
Grassroots Motosrports casually dropped a pic of the OS Giken TC24 equipped 240z on their facebook page:
oatmilk
The complete OS Giken motor as set-up in the black z car at their booth to be replicated would cost ~$70K they said. 3.3 Litre with the new OS Giken head, built by Rebello. Told me that the engine would continue to make power up to and past 9K and was limited to some issue with the carbs depsite the posted dyno sheet. Owner of the black car is a Calif guy. Not mentioned much since the black engine compartment kind of hid it was that it was nicely shaved and wire tucked. Previous SEMA shows in the past had Datsun's as well. Always nice to get more Datsun recognition.
veritech-z
So OSG had Rebello build that engine? They didn't just do it themselves? Or was it an existing Rebello stroker that they started with maybe? Here is a picture of the engine bay that somebody commented on that facebook post with: Edited November 10, 2015 by veritech-z
Leon
So OSG had Rebello build that engine? They didn't just do it themselves? Or was it an existing Rebello stroker that they started with maybe? OSG provided the head. Z Car Garage did the build and they used Rebello to build the 3.4L bottom end.
