hooahh3
Where are you guys finding these 90* elbows that are hose only? Everything ive looked up is a hard fitting that's male/male. Ive seen guys on here with the hose style that just slips on the exsisting car fittings but cant find them anywhere on the web like that. (granted ive probably missed them in my searching) searching anything on here with the words " heater hose elbow" or any combonation there of brings up every damn thread to ever mention those words. lol wich is not getting me any where on finding out where to buy them If anyone has the store or part numbers from there purchase id greatly appreciate it Thank you

Try searching ebay for "5/8" silicone 90" Also works for other sizes/angles

zspeed22
For non Napa specific part number use the following Gates numbers. Gates, 20338 - Short 18077 - Long
EastTnZ
I typically go into the auto parts stores and they let me behind the counter and I looked for the perfect size and then they'll ring it up. My heater control valve was the first thing I fixed on my z 4 years ago! Bronco heater control valve was my replacement for the factory one until I went with a new vintage air unit. Richard Oben
Any of the mid 70s ford cars and trucks have the 90 deg hoses, some in 5/8 and some in 3/4 on the bent end. They come in short and long versions. We use them all the time in stuff. Order for a 75 ford pick up with a 302. HTH, Richard.
hooahh3
awesome, thanks for the info guys How are you liking that vintage air unit? Definitely want to get one of those or any self contained under dash units. How is the figment under the dash on the Z cars?
hooahh3
Can't find it right off hand now, but isn't there a brand that even has the compressor inside the box under the dash? and all you run are the lines and condenser to the engine bay? I swear i looked those up before
Richard Oben
https://www.seanhylandmotorsport.com/blog/12-v-air-conditioning-compressor-how-can-you-decide-if-one-is-right-for-you/ I think this is what you are referring to, but that will be a lot harder than the JCI AC compressor mount. VA mini or compact behind dash.
hooahh3
yes. pretty much exactly that. an all in 1 package and just run 2 lines to the radiator area and that's it. I can't run the JCI AC kit so i gotta figure out something different
