JDs78 Posted August 27, 2017 Share Posted August 27, 2017 (edited) Hey guys I was trying to figure out what would cause my drum brake on the rear to tilt in towards the body of the car with with the side of it going inward towards the driver door. cockerstar Posted August 28, 2017 Share Posted August 28, 2017 Get out some string and a measuring tape and start comparing to the passenger's side. JDs78 Posted August 28, 2017 Author Share Posted August 28, 2017 Thank you for the reply one thing I did notice was that the rear strut tower on the passenger side was closer to the frame of the car. JDs78 Posted August 29, 2017 Author Share Posted August 29, 2017 I did notice that most of my rear bushings are worn out and cracked. Also my shocks and struts are shot in the front and back. You can take the control arm off with the strut to change the inner bushings, too. But when you take the strut off of the control arm, you're entering a forbidden realm.
