Gregoryp
Just getting going on my 260Z rocket bunny build. Starting with a really clean 74' 260 that I picked up in Atlanta. Supposedly sat in a barn for 32 years, and it looked like it probably did. I'm installing a rocket bunny kit and doing a custom airlift performance air bag suspension. I'm documenting the build as I go, you can check it out here if you are interested.
LLave
How do you plan to fill the gap between the inner and outer panel? When I did my flares, I left the inside long and folded it over, welding it to the outside. Are you going to make a filler?
Gregoryp
I initially started doing the same by splitting the inner fender and bending it up, but didn't like all the gaps and it didn't fold up cleanly. I ended up cutting it out and butt welding in filler panels. I didn't see a lot of info on how to do it, so created videos to share with anyone looking to do it. Link to my channel with the videos is below and documents the whole process. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1YCL-94VAUmAG_ciYiMtLg Edited December 17, 2018 by Gregoryp
Gregoryp
Have the rear air bag struts installed see video below. Working on the front next, just waiting for the spindles to come back from the machine shop. https://youtu.be/mheQw_wsNzg

youztheclue
I'm about to start watching your videos, I'm glad there is one more 260z getting some work done and put back on the road.
