Jboogsthethug
I've asked this on 5thGen's thread, but no reply yet and I'd like to move forward soon. If you look over his 1st page about removing the evap tank, I'm not sure exactly how he did it. I'm also not sure how he connected the -6AN Fitting that comes from the top driver's side outlet on the surge tank to the inlet on the gas tank. From what I'm understanding, it goes to an inlet that is much too small. Has anyone else done this? My thought would be to use an adapter (Like this: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/vpe-16892?seid=srese1&gclid=CjwKCAjw8NfrBRA7EiwAfiVJpWgvs863kF2WgH_YOME5HUUOxOF0s8TI0HXcfFaaPvXiXeFHR-YUQhoCmJcQAvD_BwE), but I feel like with how thorough 5thgen is he would've mentioned that. Leads me to believe he easily hooked it up without needing adapters. Any info/ideas are much appreciated! Here are a few more shots of the setup. DuffyMahoney
I fit all of that stuff under the car. Wasn't too hard and looks nice. Just FYI.

Thanks for the heads up! I plan on rearranging later on and have currently just done it similar to his. How did you connect your hose to the tank for the return from the Surge? DuffyMahoney
I'm not using a surge. No reason for it unless you are racing. I adapted the small hose to 3/16 and then the larger hose to 5/16. I got AN adapters that are are 5/16 or -4 3/16 for the return. But it should be easy to route. This is a neat product. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Billet-Aluminum-Bosch-044-1L-High-Flow-External-Fuel-Pump-Surge-Tank-E85-For-IE/323080627152?_trkparms=aid%3D555018%26algo%3DPL.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D60037%26meid%3D20fcd3a75b66442190761e0dfac6fcba%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D7%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D323419174147%26itm%3D323080627152%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
Ben280
I'd look for a tube nut that corresponded with that tube size, then use a male/male adapter to get to -6AN. I'm guessing that the tube you referenced in the other thread is a -5 AN size (most of the hard lines on these cars are) but I'd measure it with a vernier caliper before buying tube nuts! Parts list if this is the correct solution: Tube Nuts - https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ear-581805erl/overview/ Tube Sleeve - https://www.summitracing.com/parts/aer-fbm3679 Adapter - https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ear-991907erl/overview/ Again, this assumes the tube on the tank is a -5AN size. Otherwise, just buy the appropriate pieces! Another note, -3AN will be 3/16", -4AN will be 1/4" and -5AN will be 5/16". Get the tube clean and measure the OD! Thanks for the input, this is what I was wondering about! I did talk to another user on here (wrcbonk) and he used the stock return line for the venting canister as his fuel return. That has a much bigger diameter, so I think I'll try that out! If that doesn't work, then I'll try out your solution as it is preferable to draining the tank, drilling a hole for the adapter I referenced, and then cleaning the shards out ha.
