260DET
The engine is presently stock except for a hi-flow turbo, intercooler, 15psi boost, bigger injectors and MoTec engine management system. 220 RWHP and lots of low/mid range torque. Seeing that the spare engine is going to rebuilt, I was thinking about doing some modest mods. Maybe a 65mm throttle body and a stroker crank. Have heard that a crank from a Nissan Z24 engine will fit. Would that require different rods, pistons, sump? Any other tips or leads appreciated. Clifton
You might have better luck here http://www.fj20.com/ if no one on this board can help.
yo2001
More stroke will generally require different pistons and rods. stroke/2+rod length+ wristing height to figure out the combination you need. I think SR's are 136mm rods with 30mm wrist pin.

260DET
Thanks for the tips, all, stroker FJ's are built but those in the know are keeping 'the knowledge' to themselves, so far.
