G-Tech
Title should say it all. I don't need the whole rear end unless that is the only way you would sell them. I hurt the gears in mine. Hoping someone has something they are willing to part with. Thank you
AydinZ71
That is the most common ratio for R-200's that came in any-year S30. You might want to try finding someone with the diff for sale, and ask them to remove it if you are trying to save on shipping? Most folks don't have the gear-set separate from the carrier, but that's just my experience.

I thought the s30 would've been 3.93 also. Basically like i said, i only need the gears but if i have to buy the whole rear end i will. AydinZ71
I sold my R200 w/ 3.54 for $300 w/ half-shafts a year ago. If it was a 3.9, it could have sold for $200 more. The 3.9 was equipped on fewer models and is the highest you go, shy of the rare 4.11 (which I have not found in an r200 carrier, only r180). You are in a good position try Facebook marketplace, offer-up (unless you are not in a metro area), eBay, etc. you will find one, I’m sure of it. G-Tech
So funny, the different worlds s30 owners and s130 owners live.
AydinZ71
Heck, if you wanted a 3.7, they where in tons of z31’s. You could do some research in that space as well. i bet the auto junkets still stock r200’s from z31’s.
G-Tech
Not a bad thought. I have a LS with 500hp and a 6-speed so i do want as much gear as possible.
74_5.0L_Z
There are a few rare Long Nose R200 differentials with 3.36 gears (I have one in mine). I believe they were stock in the 1977 280Z 2+2 four speed cars. I would love to find an even higher gear 3.15 or 3.00.

There is 1 r200 i see on ebay w/ 3.54's for $600 but you never know the actual condition, i cant even see what is wrong with the gears i have but i changed bearings, backlash, preload, pinion depth and couldnt get the noise to go away. Put my other diff in and noise gone.. I have someone locally willing to sell me his w/ 3.70 for a little cheaper. I am going to pick that one up. I just last night rebuilt my other diff with 3.90 gears and i can tell the difference for sure.
AydinZ71
Post that 3.9 for sale (if you are willing to ship) and I'm sure you could get at least $500 for it.
