Bob_H
Here is what I am talking about: Hump hoses Is there some advantage to not having a straight transition from one pipe to the next for intercoolers? I am assuming same size for each pipe. What about necking down? Just curious here... -Bob
RB26powered74zcar
Bob, I think the purpose of the hump vrs. the strait, is that the hump will tend to work better for a joint that isn't perfectly strait. If you were to connect two pipes with the hump, then you could slightly move the angle a bit. Also imo, they work better for joints that "move" a little. This is my reason for using them anyways... Cody 82 ZXT
The only downside to the Hump connectors are that they can cause turbulance in the airstream. I'm sure one or two would be fine but, I would stay away from more than that.
BRAD D
Hoover sold me two of them because the motor will move a little. And as for turbulance it will cause some but it will not be right in front of the TB on an RB26.
