Synlubes
James what is the opening on the front of the hood for?? To follow up on Tom`s question. What did you use to cut such a nice clean/straight opening?
240Z Turbo
When I ran the previous intercooler that was 5.5" thick, the hole was used to get additional air to the radiator. It still serves the same purpose, but I need to make some ducting for it to have a better effect. I used a Jig Saw with the proper blade to cut the hole. Place masking tape on the hood where it is to be cut and then trace the line on the masking tape. The tape helps to ensure the saw does not scratch the paint and keeps the paint from chipping along the cut line.
