280Zen
I have an additional question about using the 240sx throttle body on my ZX. What issues will I run into if I do this mod to a stock 83 280zx NA? the only modification I've done so far is a K&N forced air intake. fl327
same thing to an NA, bolts right up,zx tps and linkage will work if you use the spacer.
280Zen
Sorry I meant issue as how will the ECU handle the increase in airflow? will stock injectors push enough fuel to offset the increased airflow? issues along that line.
SleeperZ
Sorry I meant issue as how will the ECU handle the increase in airflow? will stock injectors push enough fuel to offset the increased airflow? issues along that line. The airflow meter measures the air - it will measure more, and fuel the extra air appropriately. The throttlebody by itself is not that big of a restriction. If you want lots more airflow, port the head, get a cam and a programmable fuel computer without an airflow meter - that you will need bigger injectors for. The stock injectors are good for 160-180 hp easy.
