Mudge
This is after the wheel swap? If so it must be the wheels or tires, could have even had Fix A Flat in one of the tires, who knows.
Pop N Wood
Rotors out of true did it for me. Check the rotor run out as per the service manual. Could be complicated by worn tie rod ends, worn ball joints, excessive play in the steering rack or steering rack bushings, loose wheel bearings, out of round tires, bad alignment, worn struts. Oh, also check the tire pressure. and check for irregular wear patterns.
j260z
sounds like an alignment problem. i believe that the majority of wheel balance problems show up under 60mph.
Mudge
The car had no problems until a wheel/tire swap. Alignment could be it because the size is larger, but that car did sit for awhile so who knows what its history was, in terms of fix a flat and etc

Guest Anonymous
my car did the same thing . tires were out of round . when you go to get them balanced look at the tire while it is spinning on the balancer. the man doing the work does noy always care about your tires, i have learned. Mudge
Damn good chance of flat spotting after sitting so long. The man doing work for you may not care about a damn thing you own, hence do your own work or take the risk and financial beating. No I'm not advocating balancing your own tires, find a good tire shop. Luckily there is a good alignment/tire shop south of me.
