Guest ON3GO
I have a 2nd gen RX7 (FC) n/a oil cooler... would this work? mike
Z-Gad
I used a stock 280zx turbo oil cooler adaptor out of an automatic. I had it tapped for 1/2 npt and then ran braided hose to a large B&M oil cooler in between the intercooler and radiator. You would only have to unscrew the oil filter stud from the block to put it on.
fl327
ford/chysler kit bolts right up, since L motors use same size filters as ford V8s. works great i run mine to a B and M tranny cooler, with the supplied high pressure line, works great, with the left over line i used it for fuel line, also works great for that too!!!! not sure if im getting the greatest cooling, but its better than no oil cooler right? Ron240zxt
Just curious if i need to modify anything to run a oil adapter? or is it basically screw on and go? Thanks Ron
yo2001
nothing need to be modify that I remember. But I would consider the pressure drop. Transcooler drops alot of pressure.
BQR280Z
I added a dual remote filter kit to my Z, then just continued out the remote filter to a Ford SHO trans cooler, then back to the adapter plate. Ran it all in braided stainless, have about 300 miles on it and all seems good. Bill
