stony Posted June 5, 2003 Share Posted June 5, 2003 the funniest thing happened the other day. this older guy came up to me and asked me "thats a 260 right?" i was like wow he either guessed really good or he knows his datsuns. turns out he is one of the presidents of the midnight sun rod club up here in alaska. he tells me about the club and invites me to there thursday night cruise. i was like wow. then right after that this street bum comes up to me from behind my car and spots the braided line come from the cell and goes "WOW dude is that NAWS???? I notice i get alot of compliments from african americans. 2nd generation mexicans always offer me a trade. (some kind of pickup truck or a 280zx) asians my age always tell me it is unreliable (not true obviously since it is the original engine) white guys always tell me to drop a V8 in it. (this is at hybridz bbq's mostly Van) second generation japanese folks tell me their high school story then they move on to talk about 510's and then continue with another high school story. nevertheless this car has brought alot of intresting people.
