Jersey
Hey all. I was wondering if anyone knew the part #'s, CR or whoever, for all the seals and bearings for the R200? Have to do some R&R on my '78 R200 and want to replace all the inner-outer-front seals & bearings while i'm in there. Also, are there any differences between the R200's as far as bearings/seals go or are they all the same from '75-'83? I could call the parts store and they MAY be able to look it up but, it'll most likely turn out the way it usually does....they order it, i get it , i return it cause they ordered the wrong parts then they look it up again, new #'s, re-order, get it, return it...blahblah. If it's not in the computer now-a-days, they don't have the knowledge here in NJ to open a darn book anymore! Unreal. Thanks in advance guys. SleeperZ
Jersey - I posted the seal numbers about 2 months ago when I was preparing my 3.54. Do a search for "part numbers" in the drivetrain forum, they should pop up. I didn't get bearing numbers.
Jersey
Got the seals, actually had them for about 6 months now but haven't put them in. Figured i'd do it all at once with the bearings. Thanks Sleeper for the info & reply.
zcarnut
FYI; The input (pinion) bearing is not standard. You can only get it from Nissan. The other bearings can be crossed over using the ID numbers printed on the bearings. Most of the Nissan OEM bearings are from NSK. (Sorry, I don't have the part numbers handy....) Jersey
Thanks zcarnut. I was just trying to elinimate down-time but it looks like the only true way to do it is like you mentioned, pull the old and get some #'s. Appreciate it.
