Bob_H
ok i need help as usual what is the cheapest place to buy a rb26dett and a rwd tranny what is the cheapest place to buy a sr20det with tranny If you are asking what is the cheapest place to buy one of those motors, this swap isn't for you. It is not a cheap swap and the motor is at best 1/2 of the total cost of the swap. At worst, it is less than 1/3 of the cost. -Bob
Guest brianglawson
i know it wont be cheap but i do not want to pay 10,000 for a 5,000 motor either
Bob_H
well, then you know how much they are worth. do a search of this forum to see where I and others have procured our motors from. My source is now $5500 vice $6500. Or maybe it was $6800 to 5800...can't remember. Either way, well covered in this forum if you do a search. -Bob
Guest Anonymous
I'm in a fight with my webmaster, : ( hopefully it will be resolved at the begining of this week. It's "suspended without payment" because I didn't like the work that was done and we're renegotiating, he's doing it to piss me off.

His site was shut off at the time because he failed to come through on his end of our contract, pure and simple. There was no "fight", he was absolutely satisfied with the work my company performed, and I have months and months of email messages and chat logs to back that up. To put it bluntly, he's lying. He seems to do a lot of that. You can read the whole story, including my several-paragraphs long account of this incident and EZCheese's (an original Afterdark employee) summary here. For other adventures in the "Adam 'Daunttless' Doud Is A Lying, Larcenous, Fraud" series, look here, here, here, and here.

Guest Anonymous
Quoth David Karey... Are you here to stir the pot? Or are you here to tell us this guy is a bad businessman? Neither. I'm here to tell you that, with regards to his conflict with me and the post he made above, he's a liar. The fact that he's a bad businessman should be fairly obvious to anyone with anything besides dryer lint between their ears. You don't need me to tell you that. TimZ
The simple fact that this "Dauntless" guy immediately started badmouthing someone else when asked a simple question should make anyone suspicious, especially considering he's brand new to this board. Even if it's true it's just bad business practice to air your dirty laundry in public. Do you really want to risk potentially thousands of dallars with someone like that? As far as stirring the pot, the K_car guy wasn't trying to sell any of us anything as far as I could tell, and did point to several relevant links. Get a clue guys. JustAFantaZ
As far as stirring the pot, the K_car guy wasn't trying to sell any of us anything as far as I could tell, and did point to several relevant links. And those links were a real wake-up call, for me at least. Be careful who you entrust with your business. There are still people out there who scarcely fear the consequences of ripping off the public.
