Schlasken
what is involved in this swap? has anyone done this yet? i think it would be a nice swap for a z, the gtr is much heavier and i have newer heard anything bad about the brakes on the gtr. DavyZ
You will not find this commonplace in the US since we don't have those cars here for the most part. Too obscure, too exclusive, too rare. For the same cost or less, racing brakes can be installed--makes more sense for us in the USA. However, for those in Australia and NZ, Europe, etc, it might be a good move. Guest shuyun
I would think with all the half cuts coming over that this swap would not be to dificult to come by.

fl327
I know that they slip onto five lug 240sx like nothing.
Guest zline
Its an ultra intensive swap...I'd rather run Modern Motorsports 13" kit... lots easier..but if you really want to know, this is how its done. First off...I'm not sure if the Z32 caliper mount bracket will fit on the Z so, a surefire way to do it would be to convert the lower half of your suspension to Z31 like Stony did here's the link so you dont have to search: http://hybridz.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=20936&highlight=z31+strut+conversion Parts you need: Z31 5 lug (turbo) hubs Z32 caliper mounting bracket R33 Calipers & Rotors - I believe the GT-R calipers are 32mm therefore the 30mm Z32TT rotors are rendered useless. Now that you got all that setup, its a bolt on affair Simple huh?
260DET
The Nissan four spot calipers won't bolt up to the Z, the four spot caliper has wider hole spacings. Given the apparently excellent big brake conversion kits available in the US, a Skyline conversion attempt hardly seems to be worthwhile, I looked at it a while ago and for reasons I can't now recall rejected it. stony
i used gtr calipers with 300z rotors on my z but i sectioned the bottem of my struts and welded together the bottem of the 300z strut. if you browse the 300z forums you might be able to find places to get this stuff... it is a bolt on swap for all 5 lug 300Zs
