i'm trying to install a finned holley type fuel rail and there were no instructions included.. so... my question is what all has to be removed and what modifications, if any, are needed? i was told to use a high pressure 5/16 fuel line rather than a standard fuel line. i'll be using some braided steel lines, would that suffice? also, in a picture on zcarcreations, it seems they ripped out a whole section including the cold start valve and FSR. where does the fuel pressure regulator go? i'm very confused. i just finished soldering on new bosch connectors but now i dont know how to install these rail completely. any ideas? pictures? that would be greatly appreciated. thanks so much.

I can get you some pics probably tomorrow...

I have relocated the pressure regulator to the firewall (I hope it never means that literally  )

I am using push lock hose in my application... no hose clamps needed, it good for 300 psi I believe....

Thanks.... (hopefully it will start to look much better soon :) )

Acutally none of the lines are connected to the regulator yet, I put one of them on last night...

I rerouted the return line to the tank up the firewall. (not fastened yet, its the SS hose to the lower left of the pic)

In that pic.. the hose barb on top is the vacuum.. the one on the right will connect to the fuel rail and the one on the left will return to fuel tank.

Hopefully I will have them all on by tonight.... I'll put up some new pics then for more clarity...

Here is the completed fuel rail with hoses....forgot to attach one of the clamps near the fan

all except the vacuum line which just connects to the intake..

I custom built my rail... I just made two brackets to to attach to two of the screw holes in the intake, its hard to see them because I had them powder coated the same as the intake.... then put two screws in the bottom of the fuel rail to help hold it in place (although the fuel lines were probably sufficent enough to hold it there)

what size rail is that. Holley only seems to offer 12, 18, & 36" lengths. The 18 seemed to small when i held it up next to the injectors by maybe an inch. I bought the 36" with plans to cut it down. Hey i got it for $32 so i cant complain.

That rail looks exactly like the stock Arizona Speed and Marine sells for $12 a foot. I got 2 feet, tapped it for 1/8"NPT and 3/8"NPT, fit it with -6AN line.
