Guest szlash280z
when you do a turbo swap, make sure that you mount your ECU to the car. I still haven't done mounted mine, but everytime I make a hard left turn, it falls out of it's place and wedges my dang clutch pedal to the floor! I have to stop the car to get it out! I wish the ECU for the Turbo was the exact same size as the NA, I would have mounted it already!
SleeperZ
Lol! You know that ECUs (same as computers) only do what you tell them to do..
Drax240z
Uh, don't the ECU's have to be grounded? That is the case with most of them...
Tim240z
Uh, don't the ECU's have to be grounded? That is the case with most of them... Sometimes we all need to be grounded in some fashion
fl327
Mounting ecu solidly is good idea. If it flails around excessively, wire connections and pins can bend. This causing bad running and premature failure. My ecu runs great, ecu used to be on floor, now moved to driver side kick panel. No running problems not grounding the CECU, but thats just me. yo2001
FYI, Z31 ECU fits just right on 280Z's original ECU spot. I thought it was neat
