hey guys quick question..... rear disc brakes..

hey guys my dad is doing my rear disc brakes and he is going nuts and about to quit... but i need to ask this..

i have the modern motorsports 240sx rear disc brake mount... and 240sx calipers and rotors and those KVR carbon fiber brake pads and also the e-brake mounts...

now can i use the stock 240sx rotors? because my dad said only half the pad is on the rotor...

if not what rotors do i need? im kinda broke..

also what do i need to do with the stock e-brake lines? i already flipped them before i left but my dad said there still to long?

any help would be great, i need to get this car to houston.

you're not supposed to use 240sx rotors with that kit - use the rear disk from an n/a 1984 300zx

i dont have a kit.,....

i just bought the mounts from Ross....

so i need to use the 300zx rotors... 1984 Z31 vented rotros.. only from a n/a....

Those rear discs are not vented, I'm 99.99999% sure.

just order REAR rotors from an 84 non-turbo 300zx. they are NOT vented

i went to nopi.com and found this..

ok, please try to actually read my messages, they contain valuable information! If you follow exactly what I specified, you will get the right stuff!

 

all turbo 300 zx rotors are 5 lug. you can order it from buyautoparts.com too you know. along wit 10 other online stores that actually know what they carry

yes i no.. but if u read what i said you would no what i said.

it doesnt say on NOPI.com if its a 4 or 5 lug.

it sayed ALL 300zx rear solid rotors but says INCLUDING turbo.

i no the turbo's are 5 lug.

i need to order them online to send them right to Florida.

I looked at the picture of the rotor at Nopi. It looks like it's drilled for 4 and 5 lugs. Of course it was also vented, and I know for a fact rear Z31 rotors are not.
