Phyte
You better post more pics! Are you going to run flares on the rear, or just have the tires stick out like that.. The reason I ask I because I'm shopping for wheels. Are those 8" wide on the back? Great looking car! Phyte
Guest ON3GO
i have ZG flares for front and rear. they are 17x10 rear, 17x9 front. 275-40-ZR17 rear, 255-40-ZR17 front. thanks man mike
fl327
hey on3go, what is the backspacing on your front wheels? looks like you dont even really need flares for those fronts! i like your car, a z in any color looks good i think, as long as the paint is nice. Guest ON3GO
well the front wheels just barely stick out past the front stock fenders. im gonna prob run a spacer to push them out a tad bit though. the backspacing and offset is all in a book some place around this mess apartment. once i find it ill post them for ya. and thanks, i like my car too. the color is very different.. i cant wait to redo it all perfect.. same color though mike

David K
on3go, Why did they build the garage on the side of a hill?
CruxGNZ
P.S hows ur car coming along? It's slow, but coming along. My buddy and I are working out when I can use his garage to do the swap, but we now have a problem. There should have been room for me to work on it in his garage, but he now has one more of his project cars in there (a beautiful '64 Buick Special GN Hybrid and a immaculate '71 Buick GSX 8) ) so we're trying to figure out a plan to get my car done without having to leave one of his cars sit outside. Oh well... hopefully I can do the cage and subframe connectors while it's sitting there too. Now that would work out great for me. I now have DSL and I got some web space with the service, so I will have a buddy of mine show me how to set up a site for my swap. As soon as the L24 gets pulled, I will be showing progress pics in the "6 cylinder tech board" for any that are interested. Keep us up to date on the progress of the puke green mobile ...I actually think it looks like more of a candy green color from your pics. !M! Cody 82 ZXT
Mike that's really coming along nicely. Can't wait to see how it looks and runs in the spring at Ennis. By the way are you coming up on Sat. the 22nd? Not sure if I'm going to make it to the track but, I'm going to try.

KEEP IT!!!!! 255'S in the front, huh? hmmm.... silly z-REX. and i was gonna go smaller. since you'll be driving long before i will, you have to post pics of your forearms after steering it around for a week so i can study the effects of massive tires without power steering as a cheap way around a gym membership..... Hybrid240z
Your car is looking great. Makes me kinda mad that I have to work on the house before I can start working on my project. Oh well, I hope to start it early next year. I'm almost 100% positive that I will be sticking a 2JZ in my 240Z. I can't wait. Marcos
S30Z Bushido
mike, the car is looking great. what color are you going to paint the airdam? are you going to paint the body? and did you get the "big" zg overfenders or the small ones? if it were my car i wouldent run the front overfenders. The fitment without the overfender is PERFECT, IMO. for the rear i would run a 20mm bolt on spacer and use the overfenders... mmmmm... that would be sweet, what do you think? Guest ON3GO
hmm i do like that.. the rear sticks out alot so i doubt ill need a spacer. im gonna paint the air dam either black or a dark gun metal, along with my ZG flares and rear panel. thats a NICE Z, and the color is crazy! im painting the body too.. keeping the green. next Z will be bayside blue. mike
