Tim240z
I am running coil overs and tokikos (280Z rear strut tubes and 240 front). What is the ideal size (length, ID/OD) and is urethane or rubber better? Tim
Mike kZ
I don't know if this helps, but I cut my stock sized urethane bump stops in half for more clearance.
johnc
The Tokicos should have come with a set of cone shaped bump stops. You can always purchase a set from any number of sources on the net.
Wagz
My Tokicos didn't come with bumpstops and there were no stops on my old suspension. I got new ones in my Hyperflex master kit. They are ~ 2.5 to 3" in length. I haven't road tested so, I don't know if they need to be cut-down.
BillZ260
Same as WAGS, but I didn't get bump stops in my kit, so I am not running any. Is this serious? I got new spacers that sit atopt the strut/spring cup and under the mounting block w/ the three studs that you bolt to the strut tower. johnc
Go here and order part 7.6104: http://www.energysuspension.com/sk_bsp1.html
Wagz
The 76104 stops look exactly like what I got in my kit. I guess my memory regarding the length was off, though. In any case, they fit fine with my Tokicos and coilover setup.
