auxilary
I need a 255lph or so external fuel pump for the rotary. It will operate at 42-43 psi for the injection, and will be supplying fuel to 2 x 550cc injectors, and 2 x 720cc injectors. The feed is coming from sumped fuel cell, so it needs to be an external inline unit. Any recommendations and model numbers with prices? I was thinking of something like a Walbro GSL392 unit. Tim240z
Not too sure on the LPH specs, but how about the MSD unit. I am using it on the LT1. Under $80 from Summit: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=MSD%2D2225
auxilary
Thanks tim, but that pump doesn't flow enough for the rotary c'mon guys, doesn't anyone else read this forum?
slownrusty
I am running the Walboro GSL392, so far its been fantastic and will support up to 600hp on a forced induction motor. Yasin
johnc
I run the Bosch Porsche pump. Part number is something like: 0.580.254.979. About $225 new and $100 rebuilt. This pump and the Walbro unit do not pull fuel very well. Mount them lower then the fuel cell or put a helper pump in the tank as a feed. auxilary
Thanks Yasin and John. I can't really put a fuel pump into the cell, no provisioning, so it'll have to be gravity feed.
240zprace
try the aeromotive one... part# AEI-11101. thispump flows 500lbs./hr. at 12 volts and 45 psi, it can support up to 1000 hp. summit sales it for $289.
johnc
I installed that Aeromotive pump on a customer's car. Its the heaviest damn fuel pump I've ever seen. Must be 10 lbs. And it has -10 AN fittings!
Guest 81na ZX
If you want 255lph, get the Walbro I've got one in my Talon. You probally know a bunch of guys with them too... The Aeromotive pump is REALLY nice. Loud though, probally a little louder than a Walbro. A friend of mine had one in a SR20DET powered Pulsar. Guest Chris240turbo
I run that aeromotive A1000 pump, Johnc is right, it's pretty heavy, and kinda loud, the extruded housing is pretty though! I run a fuel cell, mounted where the spare tire well used to be, and the cell has -10 outlets, so I went -10 from cell to pump, then -10 to -8 adapter to 1/2 hard line, was kind of a pain to plumb, but it works great!
