Is it just me or do thoes piston walls look thin and easy to break? looks like gaps around them? doesnt seem like there is much room for any error or running lean or pinging for the just in cases. Looks pretty good though.. what are yall expecting out of it HP wise and 1/4 time wise?

Yeah, I hope you put a block guard on that Honda engine. Is that just a JRSC? From what I've heard, the most you are going to get out of that is 300whp - I could be wrong, but at 14 psi it's a serious hair dryer, especially without an intercooler.

And the big big news is Bastaad525 is still up and running!!!! :D

ya its not sleaved.. which sucks but it will be fine for now.

we are hoping for around 350hp or so with the 100shot.

still havent put the injectors in yet though.

we ported the exhaust side of the head and cleaned it all up.. the intake side is fine for now, has stock cams still.

ya i no.. no Z yet for me.. soon i hope... soon.

and congrats on bastaad!!!!!

That motor WILL fail shortly without a block gaurd at those hp #'s. The block gaurd presses in around the top of the cylinders between the block and cylinder wall. It needs the extra rigidity. They tend to crack around the thrust side of the #3 cylinder at the top of the cylinder sleeve. I have been spending a little "quality time" with a local import engine builder and have learned a few tricks regarding these motors. looks like a fun project though

well no spray for us then..

its a fun toy, its fun to pass a C5 and see the owners face.

sad thing is he might have to sell the car because he is having money problems right now... i feel bad to because its his baby and he just got done with it.

we are thinking about getting a 1st gen DSM for him to drive around and fix up.

sucks but thats life...
