JMortensen
That sounds like a destruction derby!!! Never seen that much carnage at any of the events I've been to. Worst I saw was an MR2 back into a corner worker's stand at about 50. 4' of air huh? That's pretty impressive! Glad you had fun, and I hope your car isn't too badly damaged. Maybe time for a poor man's toe adjuster when you get it all back together... Jon

johnc
Then why the hell did they have us running through a muddy pond? Its called a "Sippy Hole" and you should know all about that coming from the South.
Phantom
Just to toss my 2 cnets worth in. I ran the Porterfield R4-S pads that I got from http://www.livermoreperformance.com with the Toyota upgrade on my car at Texas Motor Speedway. I changed the pads a month ahead of time but evidently still didn't get them fully seated. I had to pit 20 minutes into the first 30 minute session with smoke pouring off the right front. They were ok after they cooled and survived the rest of the day. I will say that the pads, after 115-120 miles of racing, were 50% gone and the edges looked llike they had melted. The fact that the rotors were blue confirms they saw some pretty high temps but survived. Remember, though, this is a car with combined car & driver weight of 3100 lbs so they got worked hard. gramercyjam
Its called a "Sippy Hole" and you should know all about that coming from the South. Actually, I didn't know. I had to lookup it up just now. Thanks for furthering my indoctrination into the Southern culture. I actually don't come from the South though. I was born in the Philippines, raised in upstate NY. Shucks, when I got down here, I didn't even know you were supposed to take the corn husk off to eat a Tamale. Maybe I should turn my car into a rally car? I have the closing your eyes when your about to roll over part down pat.
