mas28O
put my car on the dyno Saturday at MSA auto show. Last time I was at the track I was making 346RWHP and I was running 11.4. I will have it back to the track in a few weeks. Mike
jgkurz
mas28O, great numbers! What's even more impressive is your torque is relatively flat throughout the RPM range. My turbo L6 will never have a graph that looks that good. By the way, have you ever put your car on a DynoJet chassis dyno? I've also had may car dynoed on a Mustang dyno and was told they read lower than a DynoJet. I know it really doesn't matter, but it'd be nice to know how they compare. Guest Anonymous
Great numbers. What mods have you done since last dyno run?
qwik240z
Mike, Great numbers. What have you done to it recently? The dyno report shows that it weighs 3250 pounds. What's up with that?
Phantom
Yeah - I second Mark! What have you done to the motor!?! I'm not sure what I'd do with another 80 HP and 100 lb-ft of torque but it would be great bragging rights!! Outstanding!!!
mas28O
Mark--I am using a new cam in the motor with some tuning, MY air/fuel was lean on the run 13.4--so I can pick up some more power next time on the dyno. Quick240 they put the weight in the dyno so you can run a 1/4 mile run, the car was 2580lb last time on the scale.
mas28O
Phantom put on a LS6 intake, ported TB, and a c2 cam on your LS1 and you will love it.
Guest Anonymous
Thanks for the info. My ls-1 is on the way. Good to know what works on these motors. Mark
Phantom
Thanks for the info Mike. How did you run your exhaust? Fuel cell with duals out either side or some kind of dual to one side? I'm still pondering how to change mine away from what I have right now
240Z2NV
We were there for mas280s dyno runs. We visually verified that the computer screen showed that he exceeded 400 hp. The operators were clowns. Don't know why printout captured final number less than what we videotaped standing by screen. Good fun....
