zero Posted May 2, 2004 Share Posted May 2, 2004 I am on quite a tight budget for interior work but my parents are requiring that I install proper seats along with harnesses and a rool bar and door bars. I saw these various seat sets on ebay that don't look too bad, but I am curious if anyone has tried them. I am young enough that they dont have to be the most comfortable things in the world but i would like them to be reasonably nice. Please let me know what you think would be the best deal out of the bunch. Also if anyone has tried any of them, do you think that the holes for the harness on both of them is high enough for a 6'1'' guy not to have his spine compressed in an accident. Only comment or recommendation I'd make is to get them in a cloth velour finish... They will be VERY HOT in summer if they are of the "Carbon Look" finish... Z-TARD Posted May 5, 2004 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Try not to go too wide on the top section of the seat. The Z is a pretty narrow car, so even when mounted inboard to compensate for the width, they will still rub on your doors when closed. Having said that, I think the first set look pretty good.
