I know it's been mentioned here before, but I'm really appreciating the looks of this car. Made by an idependent design group, it's supposed to have an extraordinarily rigid frame, 2850 lbs, 1" narrower than a vette. Soo many great sportscar features for a mere $20 grand. Even if it's only gonna be a 4 cylinder, 2006 may put one in my garage...I wonder how long before someone throws in a V8? :D

Yeah... ON3GO beat me to it.... It appears to have taken a lot of its body styling cues from the various Z cars.... and ends up looking (forgive me) something like the 350Z should have.... minus the front facia..... ICK! :? The interior doesnt do a whole lot for me.... I wouldnt have minded something a little more retro-chic in there, like an updated 240Z look... but if the handling is there.... I could see myself driving one with the LS1 in it. 8)

Solstice needs more power...

So far shaping up to be like a miata... good looks, (hopefully) good handling... very low on power.... BORRRRRRRRING

Interesting - shift pattern is the same as a T56. I think the wheels on the prototype were 19-20" so rotors are probably bigger than you think - but then again - at 2,850 lbs. they don't have to be huge to get the job done - especially for the average consumer. Again - that is why there are guys like us. Another thing - it's a Pontiac - wait a couple years for them to work all the bugs out of it and then buy one two years old for 1/3 off.
