BayAreaZT
I've heard of people using JB Weld to bead their pipes. If you don't want to got that route, I'm sure any place that does welding can do the beading for you.

Guest ToplesZ
Sorry to ask a dumb "newb" question but what is pipe beading.... Bending? Welding pipes together with jb weld is prob not a good idea it will stress crack and eventually let pieces of that junk into the intake I would think. However I do like jb weld

Cody 82 ZXT
Heres a great page that shows what Beading is. If you ask me this is very important to keeping the hoses together especially as the boost gets increased. Money very well spent. Nothing like tring to fit your pipes back together on the side of the road on a late night. Opps forgot to put the link on here. http://www.roadraceengineering.com/eclipsetech/icpipebead.htm
Guest ToplesZ
Ok that makes good sense. And I definatly would not use jb weld on that Anyone thought of putting a permatex product under the silicone connections. I would think that with a combination of good clamps and it would not go anywhere. Just be a pain to disassemble I guess.
Cody 82 ZXT
Anyone thought of putting a permatex product under the silicone connections. Honestly, I thought about that along time ago but, really that would be a nightmare when time can to do anything on the car. I would see about having R.R.E. bead my pipes or a good welder put some small beads on the end of them so your connections won't come off when shifting or running high boost.
