Afshin
Yup, neat conversion. I have always been a mini fan since my parents owned one back in the seventies, unfortunately I did not have a license in my early teens. However, I would much rather get this for the same price. http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp;jsessionid=F0TNBJGXVNJHBLAZGKPZPRA?tracktype=usedcc&searchType=21&paId=131064153&pageNumber=0&numResultsPerPage=50&largeNumResultsPerPage=0&sortorder=descending&sortfield=PRICE+descending&certifiedOnly=false&recnum=12&leadExists=true&criteria=K-%7CE-%7CM-_12_%7CB-40000%7CD-_156_%7CN-N%7CR-10000%7CI-1%7CP-PRICE+descending%7CQ-descending%7CZ-07076&aff=national
jonzer12
As the son of a complete mini nut, (my dad is now restoring his 5th mini cooper) I can atest to the rediculous performance of a honda powered mini. To be honest the honda conversion requires lengthing the front subframe and as a result the converted mini doesn't handle quite the same as stock but man do they fly. My dad's vtec mini has approx 200bhp and it MOVES. I have not spent a lot of time behind the wheel of it but my only gripe is its hard to get good performance carrying passengers. You throw extra people in a mini and it becomes a completely different car. Still I wouldn't pay 35k for that mini. You can pick up a fast turbo mini for way cheaper and still have all the performance you need on the street.
BillZ260
I dig it but would rather build my own for much less....
