1 fast z
Here it is, all finished and on the silver car. MS had some problems that I am still working out so I cant drive it for a while. I did start it with my finger controlling the AFM and the other and on the throttle, and you cant even belive how it sounds, is feels like all of the air around you is being sucked in the motor, it is purely incredible. I am so glad I did this project. How do you guys think it looks?

JaysZ
that looks SWEET! leave the velocity stacks bare and clean up the rest of the engine bay to match! GREAT JOB!
280Zone
I doubt that thing will ever run... : ) JK, looks good. when will you be track testing it?
innerware
its too bad that it needs air cleaners. It really looks slick without them. I'd love to hear a sound clip posted. Looks hot.
1 fast z
I hope to Drag it on friday at Firebird, and race at the auto x event on sunday. That is If I get MS squared away. And 280zone, It will run, it will run right past your small block car, let alone your midnight car.

Clifton
I hope to Drag it on friday at Firebird, You have to get it running. I am going out to Firebird this Friday too if it's not raining. Looks good though. Did you mig or tig?
1 fast z
It is all tig welded. If I get MS back by thrusday, I should be in good shape. Are you racing the 7m car?
Clifton
Yes. I put in larger injectors so I need to tune it a little but I'll have it done by then.
1 fast z
I see an 11 sec pass coming if thats the case, make it a full run, because they will kick you off of the track if you break into the 11's, without a roll cage.
280Zone
Should I be placing bets on this?
1 fast z
Yea a light 240z with a Turbo, dual over head cam 26+ PSI, etc. against a FULL 280z NA, yea I wouldnt bet on me at all. I will take a bet against your car though 280zone.
olie05
How exactly are the injectors not leaking? you have screws holding them in place, but the screws don't look like they could be pushing against an o-ring on the injection side of the injector...just curious to see what you did. -Oliver ps... are these going to be sold in the future? maybe an intake/ported head combo w/ a price break?? nudge nudge... 1 fast z
There are two o-rings on the injectors. One is on the pintle cap, and the other is on the base of the injector below the two screws. The seal great, I pulled a bunch of VAC before I welded them on and they seal perfectly. I might make some sort of packege deal in the future on a head and intake, I will have to see how much demand there is first.
280Zone
Not much demand for parts that make you car not run. Sorry Bryan, just had to get back at you a bit.
1 fast z
Well I think it is an accomplishment when My NA l28 stock bore, stock stroke, stock intake car is just as fast as your last small block car that you had. I just had to throw that in there.
