DavD3
I was looking around and found the "best" carbs for my 73Z. It doesn't matter that they need rebuild, they are "very" "very" cheap, especially with "buy now" option .And you have only 10 days to buy, manifold comes for free !!!!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33550&item=7953425256&rd=
Pop N Wood
You are joking, right? Those are not the early 240 SU's. They must be the crappy 73+ smog units that everyone hated. Also WAY overpriced. Post a want to buy ad here or on zcar.com. You should be able to pick up a complete set of the early carbs for $100. I have seen them go for less. Tim240z
I have a set of 72 with manifold. They have been sitting for years, so likely in need of a rebuild. PM me if you want them. Tim

260DET
If they are the big ugly lumpy ones with a concentric float bowl they are worth........zero $. Can't be economically serviced.
bjhines
ummmm....evidently you guys are not looking at the same pics.... The linky shows me 1970-71 round top, 4 screw Hitachi/SU carbys. with the air cleaner....those things are worth $300 if they are indeed in good shape. If he had the N46 manifold they would be worth more.
preith
hmmm, he must have changed it, because when I originally saw this they were in fact flat tops.

They do need new throttle shaft bushing, but any set of unrebuilt SU's will. How much extra will you give for the manifold? And yes, the pic was a set of flat tops. Trevor
That guy's been watching too much of the Barret Jackson show. "Hmmm.... IF the car is worth $25,000, then the carbs must be worth a mint too."!!
