Guest Anonymous
Haha, and the wife looks on with big life insurance dollars in her head, sunning by the pool in Jamaica with her pool boy palo rubbing lotion on her bare body. Heh, she probably was the one who suggested it. Regards, Lone
Owen
What you don't see is the guy standing on the top of the engine trying to force it out. Owen

Guest Locutus
My guess would be working with the transmission. I can relate, in my 94 the 5 speed is a pain in the ass. Would have tried just about anything also to get just a little more room to work, but that is insane. Mike
Guest Anonymous
Years ago I used some cement blocks to lift a Ford Torino to do a "shade tree" brake job. And a few times vital body parts like my head was underneath.Without any warning two blocks stacked upon each other disintergrated. Dangerous! Trevor
I think he is trying to conserve petroleum resources by reducing the oilpan capacity by about 3 quarts.
Guest Anonymous
I guess is only slightly worse actually than the cars at pick and pull that we scurry around under supported by a pair of badly welded rims... Regards, Lone

MYRON
That is an ugly site. Reminds me of the time when I was around 14 and me and a friend were riding our bikes around the neighborhood. We passed a huge 4 door something or other, I think it was an early 70's Bonneville parked sideways across the ditch. As we passed the car I spotted a cool baseball cap next to it just under the drivers door. I thought cool I found a new hat. Too bad there was a head attached!.. the guy drove the car perpendicular to the ditch to creat some room to work on the under carriage. He put bricks behind the front tires(in the dirt)then he proceded to remove the driveshaft. Long story short, we found a dead guy who was doing the same stupid thing as in the picture. It was traumatic deal for us being so young and frantically trying to find a jack to get him out. We were in a rural community and when the fire department got there we had already got enough help to get him from under the car... his wife and 4 little kids looked on pretty helplessly.. it was a bad deal all together... I guess that taught me a valuable lesson... USE PROPER EQUIPMENT!!! Myron
