Owen
Does anyone know what these connectors are called, the ones on the side for the sight tube? They are some kinda push on compression fittings, I looked all over McMasterCarr and the rest of the internet but cannot find what they are called and where to get them. I don't want to use barbed fittings. I'm looking for oil/coolant safe ones. Owen
Owen
I guess they're just called "push-ins" NEWLOC® ACETAL FITTINGS http://www.newageindustries.com/nwlocamn.asp Push-In fittings http://www.hosexpress.com/pushin/pushin2.htm
2126
Owen, Have you done a search on the NET for "Sight Gauges" or "Level Gauges"....?
datsunlover
Look like 'Festo' (or the cheaper knock off brand 'pisco') air fittings to me.. we use them all the time for automation/tooling stuf. You can get them any size/shape you want, lots of variety.. Those look like maybe a 6 mm fitting, 90* elbow. From what my boss tells me, they are good for air, water, oil, basicaly whatever you wana do with them.. they'll handle it.
240Z2NV
'Datsunlover' covered what my suspicion was...pneumatic couplings.
Jolane
Ryan Herco also has fittings similar to those. May want to check with a local seal house also. Ours (Southwest Seal) carries a lot of tube fittings also also, mostly the Parker line though. Finally, Swagelok may have something similar also, although their main line is for high pressure swage ferrule fittings. Just some ideas, Joshua
Owen
Thanks guys! I re-searched at McMaster Carr and found some that might suit my need. Not too expensive either. Owen
