redruM_0381
...Triple solex carbs on heavily modified l28 pushing 600 + horsepower (600' date=' not a typo). dont ask me the engine specs or tell me that its not possible to make this power. i dont know the specs and yes, it's possible. [/quote'] Cool pics, but something tells me that this: ...does NOT push 600+hp. Unless somebody proves me wrong...

JMortensen
Yeah, I'm not buying that one either. No matter what he's done to it that just ain't gonna happen.
Pop N Wood
Looks like a pretty serious car, but without a dyno sheet how can you know what HP it is putting out? Would like to see the dyno sheet because this will set a new upper limit for a NA L28.

preith
Try more like 275 hp off. I have a very hard time beleiving it's putting out anything over 325hp.

Agreed and I'd be pretty damn impressed at 325, but there are some super high rpm L series putting out some higher hp numbers than 325. John quoted Sunbelt as saying they got 370 from their super high strung L24 recently...

preith
Wow, 370 is impressive. I thought 340 was pretty much the peak, and even then I wonder if any of them are running a wetsump no DIS. EDIT: It's still a good looking car.
