240Z_Master
#1) In order to run upgraded Nismo Injectors, what do you need? Piggyback? #2) I know there are a couple injectors, but anyone have the part number for the Nismo 555 injectors for this application? [There are so many different 555 Nismo injectors I just want to get the right ones] OR! If there is a better alternative like SARD or anything, any advice/comments/recommendations would be helpful. karay240
They are the same as the SR20 injectors. Sidefeed high impedance. Also, they require the adaptor rings just like the SR, too, so if you get them from a shop that's clueless, make sure to ask for the adaptors ($30~40/ea.) Guest PROJECTRB240SX
THE NISMO SR INJECTORS ARE DIRECT DROP IN... THEY DON'T NEED ADAPTERS. CONTACT http://www.deatschwerks.com/ ABOUT DIRECT INJECTORS FOR A CHEAPER RATE THAN THE NISMO OR TOMEI ONES.

Thanks! tha S-AFCII would do the magic for the fuel and air ratio... I was suppose to use the Denso 550CC, cause I had it in my sr and they've been good to me. P/N#:195500-2020. I hope I'm no wrong. cheftrd
The part # for Nismo 555's for RB25 is 16600-RR543. Retail is $141.75; I sell these injectors for $116.94 each. Deatschwerks sells them for $449/set, but they're used, rebuilt (also good). PROJECTRB240SX is right in that the Nismo injectors are a direct replacement. I sell the Sard injectors for $86.83 each but those require a $35 collar each.

Doesn't sound right but I don't know anything. Clarify me on this. "16600-RR543" is also the part number for the 1995/1996 N/A Z32 Nismo 555 Injectors. Does that sound right? Guest PROJECTRB240SX
A Direct Drop In Just Means That Its Fits The Fuel Rail And Intake Without Any Modifications. You Still Have To Alter The Ecu Tuning, Piggyback It, Or Get A Standalone.

Guest Benito
What about the p/e injectors from phase2? The 850cc ones look pretty nice also a direct drop-in to the factory fuel rail...

I don't think I will ever get to the point where I will use 850cc injectors. Question that's semirelated to this... If I want about like 450WHP Max, should I be going for the 555s injectors or the 740s?
Guest PROJECTRB240SX
I Would Spring For The 740cc Injectors For The Simple Fact That You'll Be Running A Lower Duty Cycle. As Long As You Can Keep The Injectors Between 70-90% (80% Being Ideal) Your Injectors Should Be Fine, But Of Course The Lower The Duty Cycle The Less Heat Is Generated. PLUS IF YOU EVER GET THE HP BUG YOU'VE GOT ROOM TO GROW. (cc/min) = (lbs/hr x 10.5) so, 550cc/10.2= 53.92 lbs/hr 53.92 x 6 = 323.52 (323.52/.55) *.90 = 529.39HP AT 90% (323.52/.55) *.80 = 470.57HP AT 80% (323.52/.55) *.70 = 411.75HP AT 70%
karay240
I agree w/ PROJECTRB240SX. No matter what you think now, it's NEVER enough. We, and I think eveyone can simpathize w/ this, get customers that are very satisfied w/ their car for about a couple of weeks (more or less, depending on how they drive) complaining about how the car doesn' seem fast anymore. They are genuinely concerned that there might be something wrong w/ their car. 99.9% of the time, it's the steering wheel gasket. Humans are very adaptive and can get used to pretty much anything. HP/speed being one of those things that the body adapts to quite well. Go w/ the bigger injetors and you'll have a little more room to play.
