award280
Hiya gang. I'm trying to figure out what cam to select for my build up. I'm going to run flatop pistons with a P90 and Dual SUs. I'm looking for a compression raio of 9 - 9.5:1 so I can run on 93 octane at most. This car will be used on the street, so I'm not looking for anything to extreme. So here is my question, which cam would you guys suggest given this info? The MSA stage II. Grind: 17033. Lift(In/Ex): .480/.480. Duration(In/Ex): 274/274. Schneider Grind: 17032 Lift(In/Ex): .460/.460. Duration(In/Ex):260/270. I know that this is a pretty much personal opinion question, but if any of you have expierience with these cams and can fill me in, that would be great. S30TRBO
Call http://iskycams.com/ and ask for Ron. He is a super nice guy, tell him your setup and he'll help you out. I was very pleased with Isky all around..
JMortensen
I'd go with the larger of those two grinds. I ran a .490/280 with SU's and 2.5 inch exhaust and it worked really well.
