turbobluestreak
I've got a problem. I've just installed a stage III turbine wheel in my t3/t4 turbo to solve my topend chock up. Well it was boosting fine 19-20psi and then just like that a loud pop and only like 10psi max. I don't belive that I have a leak but I'm not 100% for sure but it really sux. I do maintain a perfect idle with 19.5 in of vacume. tbs
Clifton
Are you running a turbo intake with the pop off valve? Could of had a hose split.
Drax240z
Sounds like a boost leak to me.
Z-Gad
Yep, sounds like you may have blown an intercooler hose...or one may have popped off
Cody 82 ZXT
I once had a boost leak at 12psi. Under vacuum it would seal up and I could never find it. Took lots of looking and investigating for me to find it. Take all your connections off and bend and twist them to see if you have a hole in one. Drax240z
Pressurize your entire intake system at 10psi with a regulator and an airhose and do soap and water leak checks. You'll be amazed what you can find that way that you won't find at idle.
