Corzette
Guys i just found this Corvette in Japan on an Army Base and he wants to sell it. I havent talked the owner yet. It needs some work but has 454 and very good body. The pics do not do it justice. I think its around a 1973 or so...any body guess? How much should I pay for it? This the look I got for my Z but id like to get this one too! Any suggestions? RB26powered74zcar
If I could see the rear I could tell you the year, but so far its a 73 or earlier. The 74 had both front & rear bumpers that were eurothane (sp?). The 72 had both front & rear metal, and the odd ball 73 (the one I had for 5 yrs) had metal rear with eurothane front..... slownrusty
Wow...very cool...body looks pretty sweet pity your pics are blurred. It looked alot later than a '73 model... Is the price right? Yasin

My question is could I find one easy in the states with the flare work and save the hasslel or should I scoop this one up?? GRUMPY WHERE ARE YOU???? Ill try to get some better pics tomorrow... Scottie-GNZ
Good luck and lets hope he does not watch Barrett-Jackson on Speed as that has completely killed any chance of the avearage guy owning a classic.
b__sosick
you're in japan home of so many cars that we could never deam of here in the states. and you want to buy a vette. =x
Dudeboy
If that is a Greeenwood kit buy it $$$$ Trans-Am bodywork that is in pretty good shape? This is a race car site but it can probably put you in the ballpark of a selling price estimate? http://www.race-cars.com/carsold/chevy.htm Look at the years 68-76 Corvette. Corzette
Bo, hahahahah. Good point. I am just looking at the investment if the price is right! Hey I found a couple of UP GARAGES here and will check them out next weekend. I just saw a way cool strut setup here that Ive never seen in the states. They have a controller box that fits over the adjustable struts that you can control by switch up front. I believe the struts are called TEINs? The controller boxes fit on top of the strut and can be controlled via knob on the dash....This would be awesome to have IMHO, no more getting out and adjusting the Illuminas anymore,,,anyone seen these? Ill make a list of things available and get some pics next weekend possibly! Terry
2003z
I assume you are military? How much will it cost to ship it back since they only pay for 1 POV? Or would you do a shipment of opportunity on a navy ship? Either way, if you can get it for under 10k, I would go for it. Those cars are only going up in value.
