Mikelly
Glad to hear it. I was actually out in the garage tonight tinkering with the gauges and looking at the wiring under the dash... I suspect I will be gutting the wiring and re-doing some trick switches to get rid of suspect wiring woes in that rats nest. Alas, it will have to wait until I get back from Bike Camp! I leave Saturday morning for Florida and 500 miles of bicycling!!! SpeedRacer
Great Dan, how does it sound? You might want to change "78 280Z, 383 450hp?, 700R4 allmost there!" to "78 280Z, 383 450hp?, 700R4 bring'um on!
pparaska
Great to hear Dan! I'm thinking of borrowing a digital cam corder to tape the video and audio when I start mine and put it on my site. Dan, let us know how she's running! Pete
Administrators SuperDan Posted March 8, 2000 Author Administrators Share Posted March 8, 2000 Runs perfect, took me about 20 min to setup the idle and I was ready to test drive... WHOA!, the old setup (FI) can't even compare, I think my engine builder is right about it being 450 - 475 hp, the power is everwhere and is execesive to say the least. The idle is not as smooth now because of the new cam but isn't bad at all and the thing sounds like a big block chevy. Im so happy now!!!! I have some new posts for the members rides area that I will setup tommorow, iv'e just been busy since Friday getting my car put back together... it was well worth all the work. ------------------ Dan, 78 280Z, 383 450hp?, 700R4 allmost there! http://members.home.net/dporter1/ [This message has been edited by SuperDan (edited March 08, 2000).]

John Scott
SuperDan, Congrats. on the initial run. I remember my first WOT out on the highway. Took my old gear buddy friend for moral support. We were all over two lanes of the highway before I knew what was happening.(hasn't been in my car since) Keep it straight and on all fours. We'll be checking on the site Saturday for the celebration speech. Have fun!!
